  August 20 – “Meet the Teacher”

o   Format: Informal orientation. Come and go at your convenience (this is not “Open House.” It is truly just a casual time to meet the teacher and orient the students to the campus. Open House will be held in September—see below)

o Time: 4:00-7:00

o What to expect:

·         Classroom rosters will be posted on the front windows and staff members will have rosters to help facilitate the process.

·         Introduce students/parents to classroom teachers and staff.

·         Allow students to locate classrooms and their seats within the classroom.

·         Drop off any school supplies already purchased.

·         Orient students to the building.

·         Allow time for parents to get information/sign up for free and reduced lunch and take photographs for the cafeteria service

·         Receive bus information.
